Work and Wander: Part 1

When work and pleasure meets, it’s fantastic! Last week I was scheduled to have my duty in Baguio. As mentioned in one of my previous blogs, Baguio has been my most loved city. This is an urban place gorged with splendid  memories. Memories which are truly worth keeping and eminently valued. The fact that Baguio is known as one of the top tourist spots in Northern Luzon, i did not have second thoughts of checking out some of the hunky-dory spots where i can enliven and satisfy my peckish stomach.

First stop is the Vanilla Cupcake Bakery at The Kamiseta Hotel. It is located at 20 Brgy Lualhati, Ignacio Villamor St, Baguio, Benguet.

This pleasant and dainty blue colored doors will welcome you as you enter the Vanilla Cupcake Bakery. It is situated at the lower ground floor.

As you reach the lower level, the right side offers the Kamiseta clothing line which is what the brand name is more known for, and the opposite side leads to the bakery.

For the “kikay” and girly girls (definitely not me..) This place is certainly a promised land.. 🙂

There are a wide variety of scrumptious cupcakes to choose from. For us, we tried the chocolate lava and red velvet cupcake and pasta carbonara.

Chocolate Lava and Red Velvet – slice of heaven!

The bakery seems to be a multicolored arcadia where Queens and Princesses lived. From glass mirrors, classy chandeliers and colorful wallpapers where mixture of pastel and vibrant colors are blended to perfection.

Outside the red door ushers you to the veranda where you can enjoy the cool Baguio breeze..

Looks like my little Prince is enjoying his stay..
